digitalSTROM Hardware

The digitalSTROM chip (dSID) is the central element of the technology. A single high volt chip unites a combination of reliable data transmission, power supply, processor and device-specific high volt electronics.

Hardware

The dSID is available in several versions. If very large quantities are required with a specific function it is possible to develop specialised chips. Moulded in a plastic housing, it can be built into electronic circuits (soldering at small contact points) as an electronic component. For devices without electronics, (e. g. lamps) 230 V cable can be soldered onto the large contact points. Designed like a luster terminal, it can be installed by an electrician directly as an element of the electric cabling of a building.
